Kuban export increased by 34% in 2021 and accounted for US$7.5 billion, as RBC Krasnodar was informed by the Department of Investments and Development of SME of the Krasnodar Krai.
2021 saw the positive dynamics of export performance. The deliveries of the products abroad were already carried out by 1,648 companies, which is 2.3% more than before. Moreover, 91% of them were SME entities, and their export turnover grew by 4.5%, which accounted for 24% of the total volume of exports (a significant contribution is made by large companies whose exports increased by almost 1.5 times).
The volume of non-resource and non-energy exports increased by 12%, amounting to approximately US$4.9 billion. The volume of imports to the Krasnodar Krai market was US$5.6 billion, which is 26% more than it had been a year earlier.
