Krasnodar Region implements 118 agreements worth 377 billion roubles

All these agreements represent public-private partnerships, with private funding accounting for 318.5 billion roubles (over 84%), announced Alexei Yurtaev, Minister of Economy of the Krasnodar Region.

The Minister clarified that 39 of the 118 agreements are concession agreements. The total investment under these agreements amounts to 174.5 billion roubles, of which 130.2 billion roubles comes from private funds. Specifically, 30 projects are being implemented in housing and utilities infrastructure and eight in social services (the construction and operation of schools, nurseries, sports facilities, and cultural and leisure facilities). One concession agreement has been concluded in transport.

Alexei Yurtaev spoke in detail about two concession agreements. Under the first, a modern municipal solid waste processing facility will be built in the Tuapsinsky District with an investment of 7 billion roubles. The second is an agreement to build and upgrade water supply and wastewater disposal systems in Armavir.

«In this case, the Krasnodar Region acted as an independent party to the agreement. The concession period is 49 years, with a total investment of 29 billion roubles, of which 26.6 billion roubles comes from the private partner,» the Minister explained.
