Fanagoria delivered its first shipment of sparkling wines to Israel

Kuban’s Fanagoria shipped its first batch of sparkling wines to Israel. The shipment included white and rosé brut, as well as a semi-sweet white sparkling wine, the company’s press service reported.

«The batch successfully arrived at the Israeli port of Ashdod and is now awaiting customs clearance before being released for retail sale across the country. Entering the Israeli market confirms the high quality of Russian wines and opens new avenues for expanding the brand’s export geography,» the statement read.

In December 2024, Fanagoria sent pilot shipments to Mongolia and Uzbekistan. The winery regularly supplies the Kazakhstan market and was negotiating exports to Kyrgyzstan and Abkhazia at the end of last year.

Additionally, Fanagoria exports about 800,000 bottles annually to China, with shipments there growing 5–10% each year, according to CEO Pyotr Romanishin. Plans include increasing shipments by expanding sales channels and partner networks.

According to SPARK data, the Agro-Industrial Company Fanagoria was established in 1996 in the village of Sennoy, Temryuk District, Krasnodar Region. Fanagoria specializes in wine production from grapes. The company’s CEO is Pyotr Romanishin. In 2024, the company reported a net profit of 1.6 billion rubles and sales revenue of 8.6 billion rubles.

The winery manages 4,500 hectares of vineyards along with a grape nursery that produces 2.5 million grafted seedlings annually.
