CLAAS, a Krasnodar manufacturer of agricultural machinery, performed half of the investment contract ahead of schedule
The enterprise must completely localize the manufacture of grain harvesters. The plant performed its key indicators before the scheduled date, ahead of the plan for duration and investment.
Five years have passed since the signing of a special investment contract for 10 years. During this time, the manufacture of Tucano grain harvesters increased more than 4 times. The production program for the current year has increased by 40% compared to last year. The enterprise was expected to create 118 new jobs, but the plant’s personnel had already grown by 281 people by the end of 2020.
The annual export volumes of Tucano harvesters and accessories for them were also almost 2 times exceeded. According to the terms of the contract, at least 7% of the gross production volume must be supplied to foreign markets annually. But actually, this figure amounts to 10-20%. This includes deliveries of the Tucano 320 harvester to the markets of the EU countries. At the same time, the main export of the Krasnodar plant is carried out to Kazakhstan.
